DeWitt Auction Co. has been engaged to sell at public auction approx. 278 acres of highly productive row crop farm land near Hornersville, MO in Dunklin County by the family of Dorothy Langdon Timmons. This land has been in this family for over 100 years.. These tracts do not contain a wetland. FSA report will be available at auction. 

NOTE: Base acre information was obtained from FSA and will be prorated out by FSA. All announcements made day of sale take precedence over printed material.

Note: All of the farms selling today are excellent cotton farms, but are also suitable for peanuts, corn, wheat, soybeans, watermelons, and potatoes. The wells stay with the farms with the center pivots belonging to the tenants. The current tenants are eager to continue farming the land. If different farming arrangements are made by the new owners, the pivots would need to be moved by the current tenants or purchased from the tenants by the new land owner.



TERMS: 10% of highest bid (non-refundable) due at conclusion of auction. Balance due on or before closing within 30 days. Closing will be handled by Pelts Title Co. in Kennett, MO. Closing costs will be divided equally between buyer and seller. Seller will collect rent for 2018 and pay 2018 Real Estate Taxes. Buyer will assume possession for 2019 crop. FSA crop basis will be prorated by FSA.

6% Buyer’s Premium will be added to last bid in order to establish selling price and is payable day of auction.

NOTE: We urge you to drive out and inspect theses fine properties before auction day.
